How about that USA soccer team. A great victory over Portugal. Maybe they have a chance to go somewhere this time around.
Congrats to the Brits. Thier football(soccer) team defeated Argentina 1-0. A stunning victory.
A beautiful day here in Bristol. Sunny and warm. Just about 70 at 1:15pm. I`ve been very busy. First I needed to fix the fence so our dogs couldn`t get out. That seems to be a weekly chore as one of them(Lucky) keeps finding ways to escape. He never goes far, but he does cross the road and we are on a very busy main road. I fear he will get hit. Then it was on to painting. I finished the obvious areas on the front porch. It looks better from the street. I`ll worry about the rest later. Then I gave the car a quick wash. Got the dust off anyway. And it`s still only 1:20pm. I guess I need to find more to do. I know I will as there is plenty to do around this 100 year old house.

A very nice day. Sunny and mid 60`s. Rain predicted for the next couple of days.
Another pet peeve of mine. When I deliver welfare/assistance/child support checks and the person says,"boy, am I glad to get this. I`m out of cigarettes." They can go buy what they want, but please don`t tell me.

Kindof chilly today. Very cloudy. I think it will rain. Hopefully today and not tomorrow.
My brother David and his wife Bonita, along with daughter Shawna and thier partner Robin, opened a candle shop on Main St in Bristol yesterday. Vermont Honeylights has been in business for a while but is making thier first appearance on Main St. I think it`s a very positive move for them and I really wish them well. Please see the link to them and visit thier site to see some of the unique candles they make. It`s a truly amazing process and if you are ever in the area, they will be happy to show you how it`s done.
