You`ll never guess what the weather is doing today. Yep, it`s raining, again. Forecast calls for 5 days of it. I`m beginning to walk like a duck.
Tomorrow is Father`s Day. Here`s to all the Dad`s out there. May your day be filled with fun and good times. I know mine will be. My kids always make a big deal of the day.

Well, the picnic went well despite the rain. The food was great. No whiffle ball this year. The ground was soaked and it rained off and on. Still had about 25 show up. Checked the mileage and it was 57 miles one way. I guess I forgot how far it was. Got home around 10. Today it rained all day. Flood watches were posted for most of the state. The nortern part of Vermont was very hard hit. The town of Lyndonville was flooded. Luckily, no-one was hurt. The rain has let up now and the sun is due to shine tomorrow. I hope so, I need to dry out.

Raining today. Not real hard at present. Just a nice gentle shower. We still need it.
Off to a Union meeting tonight. It`s the annual picnic type thing. We go to a picnic area in Montpelier(about 40 miles each way) and have burgers and dogs. No family or anything. Just union members. Then there`s a whiffle ball challenge. The Montpelier gang takes on the Burlington gang. Burlington always comes out on top. Maybe this year will be different. Probably be a small crowd with the drizzle. There is a canopy over the food area. I`ll go anyway.

Very nice day today. We went and bought a 10` by 30" pool to help us keep cool this summer. I`ve been setting it up. I`m having a hard time finding a level spot. It just won`t work if it`s not level.
