Now the government wants letter carriers to be spys.

The latest security proposal suggests that people with regular routes be recruited to report on irregularities and suspicious activity. Letter carriers were mentioned by name. It`s hard enough to maintain a positive image as a letter carrier. We don`t need the added stress of being accused of being "peeping toms".

Been back to work a couple of days and I can feel it. Very tired. I work through next Tuesday and then have a few days off again. I`m helping with the Stampede to cure Cystic Fibrosis those days. Last year we raised $58,000 for research in finding the cure. It`s a wothwhile endeavor and I enjoy it.

Work wasn`t bad yesterday. A fairly light day,thank goodness. It`s always tough the first day back after vacation.
Hot today. Already 78 and it`s only 11:00am. We are off to take Shawn to Camp Abnaki for the week. He`s pretty excited.
