The weather warmed up for the week-end. Even broke the record for Monday. Over 70 degrees on Sunday and Monday. I was able to get lots of outside stuff done. Borrowed Mike Brown`s ladder and hung my high lights for the holidays. I won`t turn them on until Thanksgiving but at least they are up. I`ll do the lower ones this week-end.
Back to work on Tuesday. Lots of mail. Always is after a holiday. Makes for a heavy load. We finally are getting caught up. Tomorrow will be heavy and then back to normal for a couple weeks. Then we do it all over again for the Thanksgiving holiday.
My friend Paul (of Teddy Bear fame) sent me some Marmite. You know that yeast extract concoction from Great Britian. Well, I still haven`t got around to trying it yet. I just don`t think of it when I`m getting ready to eat. I`ll have to make an effort so I can let Paul know what I think of it. I`ve been warned to spread it very thin.
Jean is feeling better. They removed one of her medicines so her blood pressure has stabalized. She was on 3 blood thinners so it was no wonder her pressure fell so much. We are counting carbohydrates and seem to be getting a handle on her blood sugar as well. It`s about time something went right for her. She has been through so much and always come out with a smile on her face. She is one tough girl. I am extremely proud of her.
