You need to check out Isabellas Teddy. Paul the postman has done a great job updating his site. Looks good and is interesting reading. It`s nice to read thoughts and opinions from across the sea.
We`ve finally got enough members to send for our Vietnam Veterans charter. That piece of parchment that says we are organized. It`s been a long haul. I still have people that originally signed up that never came through with the paperwork. All I was asking for was proof of service during the Vietnam years. Everyone that is honorably discharged from the US Services gets a DD214 which is a notice of discharge. Of course, most of us don`t keep real good track of them. That`s why people have to hunt around and usually send away to get a copy. It can be a hassle.
Spring was here for a few days and now is gone. It`s been cold and snowy. It snowed most of the day today and the prediction is for up to six inches more tonight. It may mix with sleet and freezing rain tomorrow. Oh gee, I got the next 2 days off.
My wife and I will be traveling to Stowe on Saturday for the Letter Carriers annual state convention. We will be staying at the Stoweflake Inn and returning home on Sunday. We`ve attended the last 3 years and always have a good time. I`m looking forward to the time away. Even if it is only one night.
