Our sub came back to work on Friday so I have my weekend off. Rained all day yesterday so I couldn`t get anything done outside. Today the sun is shining and it`s going to warm up nicely. I have lots of things I want to accomplish around the house. There are a couple of trees I want to dispose of. They aren`t real big but they are troublesome. One hangs over the garage and has ruined the roof and the other is growing close enough to the house to cause problems when it gets full grown. Down they will come. I also want to level the lawn on the west side of the house so I can put up a swimming pool. Nothing real fancy(I can`t afford that). Just one of those fifteen footers that you inflate the top and the rest expands when you fill it. We had a ten footer last year and I had a heck of a time getting it level. I think I filled it three times before I got it some where near right.

The week is finally over. Went to Ed`s service. A very sad event. He was carried to the cemetary on a fire truck(he had served almost 25 years) and was given military honors at the gravesite. His family is still suffering from the tragedy.
The weather has been nothing to talk about. Rainy and chilly most of last week. Yesterday was nice and the predictions are for a nice week. It will get to 70 degrees today. Almost like summer. I`m looking forward to it.
Looks like our sub will be back this week. She has missed over 2 weeks as the results of a foot operation. It`s tough to deliver a city route when you can`t walk very well. I missed one weekend off and poor Mike has missed 2. The overtime pay is nice but I`d rather have my days off. Everyone needs to get away from work for a day or 2.
