It`s obvious to me that people are too busy to read my entries. Not that I say a whole lot anyway. I just ramble on about trivial stuff in my little corner of the world. No big deal as it gives me a forum for ranting and raving about what`s wrong with the world. Sometimes I even talk about what`s right with the world.
My older brother,Bob is visiting from Oklahoma. His high school graduating class held a 50th reunion dinner last evening. They had 20 graduate, 16 are still alive, and all 16 were scheduled to attend. Pretty amazing I think. My class,1965, hasn`t even held a reunion and probably never will. We tried to get one going several years ago but it never got off the ground. Bob will be here until Tuesday. We are hosting a cook-out at our house tomorrow for the family. We figure 20 or so people. Burgers and dogs. Nothing spectacular.
The kids return from camp today. This is thier 4th year away. It gives them(and us) a good break. I do miss them when they are gone though.
My pet peeve of the day is drivers that are in such a hurry. My wife and I went to Williston to buy some drapes yesterday. That`s about 25 miles from home. On the way back, we were travelling along at 55mph(speed limit 50) and there was a line of cars behind us that was unbelievable. I mean, here I am going 5 mph over the limit and it`s not fast enough for the rest of the world. It makes me angry. I`ll be darned if I`ll pull over for thoses bozos to get by me. They can just slow down a bit.
