Who would believe that on Oct 11 we would see a high temperature of over 70 degrees. We did and have been seeing those temps all week. They say one more day and then things will begin to become more seasonal. The leaves have turned and this is the weekend to go leaf peeping. The colors are pretty and a drive throught the hills is well worth it. don`t forget the camera. Lots of nice photos to be taken.
Tomorrow is columbus day. No mail service so I get a holiday. Then I work 3 days and have the weekend off. Oh boy!!! I need the time to get things buttoned down for winter. I still haven`t put the storm windows on. We have run the furnace a few nights. Just to take the chill off. Trying to conserve with the cost of heating oil so high. Another added expense.
