A strange week for weather. Monday we were digging out of 18+ inches of snow. Wednesday and Thursday it rained and most of the snow is gone. It reached 43 degrees on thursday. Today was cold and the walks were icy from all the rain. It really hasn`t been a fun week for delivery. Sunday, into Monday they are predicting another storm with 9+ inches of snow. Just what we need. Mail has been steady. Packages have not been plentiful. Maybe everyone is waiting until the last minute. I can see us now. Delivering until 7:00pm on Christmas Eve. We don`t need that.

It snowed all night. It snowed all day and is still snowing. I went out at 11 this morning and cleaned the car off so my wife could go grocery shopping. There was 12 inches on the roof of the car. There has been another 4 or 5 inches since then. I have done my best to keep shoveled out but I know I will have to go out early in the morning to make sure we can get the car out. Our daughter`s school has already called and canceled classes for tomorrow. Our son`s school won`t make a decision until the morning. I am not looking forward to work tomorrow. I know there will be people that have not cleared a path to the mailbox. I have my NEOS and gaiters so I`ll slog through. I just know that I won`t be able to do it in 8 hours. That`s the way it goes.
